Vecchi/nuovi tacchi alti estremi - Old/New extreme high heels

Spero mi scuserete per il ritardo ma in questi giorni sono così impegnata che non son riuscita a prepararmi per tempo l'articolo e oggi sono andata -pausa, finalmente- alla fiera del fumetto.
Qui ho visto qualcosa di cui avrei voluto scrivere da molto tempo. 
I hope you will excuse me for the delay but I'm so busy in these days that I had no time to prepare the article and today -finally a pause- I went to a comic fair.
There I saw something that I wanted to write on from long time. 

Ho visto una ragazza vestita -davvero molto ben fatto- da Knight Sabers da Bubblegum Crisis, un cartone sci-fi (cyberpunk) dei tardi anni '80, ambientato in una Tokyo futura.
Quindi, mi sono ricordata di qualcosa di cui avrei voluto parlare quando ero ancora a lezione, durante le lezioni di Fashion Design.
Prestate attenzione ai piedi di questo gruppo mercenario tutto femminile 
I saw a girl dressed in a really nice Knight Sabers cosplay costume from Bubblegum Crisis, a late '80s sci-fi (cyberpunk) anime set in a future Tokyo.
Then, I remembered something I wanted to talk about when I was at lesson, during the Fashion Design courses. 
Pay attention to the feet of this all-female mercenary team. 

Ora, guardate le Armadillo di Alexander McQueen.
Un genio, dicono. Certo, è stato uno dei designer più visionari del nostro secolo. Ma, come chiunque abbia studiato un minimo di fisica sa, “Nulla si crea, nulla si distrugge”.
Così, lui non ha creato nulla di nuovo.
Come la maison di Louboutin. Queste scarpe possono apparire strane e volgari ma esistevano già nei primi anni del 20° secolo.

Now, look at the Alexander McQueen's Armadillo.
A genius, they said. Of course, he was one of the most talented and dreamer designer of our century. But, as anybody studies a little bit of physic knows, “Nothing can be created nor destroyed”.
So, he didn't invent anything new. 
As Louboutin's Maison. Those shoes could appear strange and vulgar but they yet existed in the early years of the twenty century. 
You can see them also in the Beyoncè's hit ‘Green Light’.   

E, se prestate attenzione, potete notare come ogni moda si riproponga ciclicamente. Anche quelle che credete essere le più orribili.
And, if you look carefully, you can notice how every trend cyclically strikes back. Also the ones you believe are the most horrible.
